Sad Hindi songs
Sad Hindi songs is a major genre of Hindi songs, both Filmi and non-film[1]. It represent the karuna rasa in classical rasa classification in Sanskrit/Hindi[2].
In India, the expression of love is not necessarily limited to male/female lovers. It can be between any two friends, mother and child, or between an individual and the society.

- hai.n sabse madhur vo gIt jinhe.n,

- Those songs are the sweetest,
- that I sing with a sad tune.
